On the crowded streets of Amsterdam, one advertisement stands out among the rest, not only due to its enormous size, but also the incorporation of directional sound via Audio Spotlight directional sound technology. In a campaign designed by blowUP media, a giant poster advertising Nokia's latest music phone is complemented by targeted music and messages. The targeted sound helps to further associate the phone as a music player, while also drawing more attention from crowds and increasing the effectiveness of the message using highly directional speakers.

AUDIO SPOTLIGHT AS-24i

 
 
 

In 2007, the advertising and marketing campaign for A&E's Paranormal State broke the mold using Audio Spotlight directional sound technology. A seven-story billboard was erected in Lower Manhattan, New York City, visually reminding the public of the channel's popular new programming. A pair of AS-24i focused sound speakers mounted above the billboard projected directional audio onto a targeted area of the sidewalk – all the way from the rooftop. 

The projected sound produced by the Audio Spotlight speakers was a woman's whispering voice that startled and entertained passersby with spooky and suggestive messages such as "Who's that?," "Who's there?," and "It's not your imagination." To those within the narrow coverage area, the sounds seemed as though they were being whispered right next to their heads, while others standing right next to them heard nothing, thanks to the focused sound beam of the Audio Spotlight.

AUDIO SPOTLIGHT AS-24i

This creative Out of Home marketing initiative fired on every cylinder, to provide directional audio advertising in the Charlotte EpiCentre. Multiple AS-24i Audio Spotlight speakers were used to draw peoples' attention to the "NASCAR Summer Series on TNT" banners and signage that hung throughout the courtyard.

The Audio Spotlight directional sound speakers beamed campaign audio straight towards the 26-foot TNT logo on the stone courtyard ground, easily audible by passersby in the area, without disturbing any of the surrounding shops and eateries. The audio tracks combined the roaring, high speed sounds of racetracks and lively pit crew chatter, cleverly laid over rock band AC/DC's legendary song "T.N.T." for obvious reasons.

The Audio Spotlight highly directional speakers allowed TNT to uniquely and publicly captivate and expand their TV sports programming audiences with ear-catching audio, all without disrupting the community of the Charlotte entertainment hub.
