Dr. F. Joseph Pompei Will Demonstrate Audio Spotlight
Directional Sound Technology at an Exclusive Event During CES 2020

Watertown, Mass., January 7, 2020 – Holosonics Founder and CEO Dr. F. Joseph Pompei has been invited to attend an exclusive event hosted by MistyWest that will take place during the Consumer Technology Association's CES 2020 conference in Las Vegas, which begins today. At MistyWest's annual Founders & Friends event, Dr. Pompei will provide a live demonstration of Audio Spotlight directional sound technology for attendees during this invite-only gala.

The event, according to organizers, will focus on "where consumer technology is headed next" and will provide a forum "to meet and connect with fellow tech visionaries and innovators". Audio Spotlight technology will be among many cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future of consumer electronics to be demonstrated at the Founders & Friends event. MistyWest, which is based in Vancouver, is a leading product development company that describes itself as craving "complex problems to radically pivot today, and realize a positive tomorrow through impactful technology".

"It's very exciting for me, personally, and for everyone on the Holosonics team to be asked by MistyWest to demonstrate Audio Spotlight technology at this prestigious event that coincides with the CES conference,” Dr. Pompei said. "I am also looking forward to meeting with all the other pioneers and business leaders in the consumer technology industry who will be in Las Vegas this week to share thoughts and ideas about the impact that evolving technologies have had and will continue to have on the marketplace in the future.”

In addition to the MistyWest event, Dr. Pompei is meeting with attendees during CES 2020 at the Las Vegas Convention Center to discuss Audio Spotlight's patented directional speaker technology, which creates sound in a narrow beam, just like light. The revolutionary self-powered Audio Spotlight directional speaker is a powerful tool, ensuring that isolated audio is heard within a tight beam of sound, while keeping the surrounding area quiet.

“Together with our success in the professional audio marketplace, we are continually working to connect with partners and distributors to create a consumer product line that leverages the core technology of Audio Spotlight,” Dr. Pompei said. “With the right development and design, our directional sound technology can be applied to a range of practical uses in people’s homes.”

The Consumer Technology Association's annual CES event is one of many annual conferences where, over the years, attendees have learned about and/or experienced live demos of Audio Spotlight technology. Other major industry and academic conferences where Holosonics has appeared as an exhibitor or at which partner companies have demonstrated Audio Spotlight technology include InfoComm, the Digital Signage Expo, Integrate, Advertising Week's TechX, and the Acoustical Society of America Meeting, just to name a few. Additionally, in May 2020, Holosonics will be an exhibitor – for the first time – at the American Alliance of Museums’ Annual Meeting and Museum Expo in San Francisco.
