Visit us at the Howard Medical Technology Solutions trade show booth at HIMSS 2020 and experience Audio Spotlight directional sound firsthand

Audio Spotlight speakers deliver sound to tight, narrow areas, just like spotlights - hence the name of our speakers. This spotlight effect results in sound levels dropping by over 90%, even just a single step outside the narrow beam of coverage, making it the perfect tool for a variety of applications, from museums, galleries, showrooms, and other exhibits, to hospitals, command rooms, and control centers, just to name a few.

For its use in hospitals and healthcare facilities, the flexible and self-powered Audio Spotlight directional speaker is a powerful tool, ensuring that private, personal audio is provided to any patient, or to visitors in a patient's room, while keeping the surrounding area quiet for those who are recuperating.

Other popular healthcare uses include patient chairs in dentist offices and transfusion centers, as well as waiting rooms, digital signage, and wayfinding displays.

Audio Spotlight technology can also play a critical role in control rooms for a wide range of hospital settings such as ICU nurse telemetry monitoring stations, security, and more.

In 2019, over 200 AS-24i speakers were installed in patient rooms at Mission Health Hospital in Asheville, NC. The speakers were installed over the guest seating area in each room to allow visitors to watch TV without disturbing their loved ones as they rest, and even as they sleep, just inches away.

Other medical centers where Audio Spotlight directional sound has been implemented include Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA, and Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa.
