A Quiet Lobby & Private ITMs: Isolating Sound to Stay With the Member at General Electric Credit Union

High ceilings, lots of glass, and three ITMs going at once. That’s what General Electric Credit Union was dealing with in its Cincinnati-area branches. Between the teller conversations, the member conversations, and the echo, the lobbies got loud. Members also didn’t always feel their ITM sessions were private.
We recently sat down with Van Williams, ITM Operations Manager at GECU, to hear how they addressed the issue with Audio Spotlight® directional speakers and how it left him with “all the confidence in the world,” to continue with plans to install directional sound speakers in every new GECU location.
GECU has installed the Audio Spotlight® speakers on ITMs at branches across Greater Cincinnati, and more installations are planned. Members have responded very positively, so GECU plans to add Audio Spotlight whenever possible in the future.
